Experience Proven experience as a Loan Officer or Mortgage Originator within retail or commercial lending environments. Strong understanding of mortgage lending processes, including loan origination systems (LOS), underwriting, processing, and servicing. Demonstrated ability in negotiation, credit analysis, financial sales, and relationship building within the financial services sector. Familiarity with banking regulatory compliance including fair housing laws, TILA disclosures, FNMA guidelines, and mortgage servicing standards. Proficiency in using accounting software, escrow management tools, financial software applications, and basic math skills for accurate calculations. Excellent client communication skills coupled with a thorough understanding of industry knowledge of financial regulations and risk assessment in commercial lending analysis.
