We are adding a Senior Mortgage Underwriter to our Miami office. This is a hands-on credit role for an underwriter who is comfortable across the full product spectrum, from agency and government loans to jumbo and Non-QM, and who can make sound, well-documented decisions without needing a second set of eyes on every file. Much of our business comes through real estate relationships, so the pipeline leans toward purchase transactions with firm contract dates. Many files involve borrowers whose income, assets, or collateral require genuine analysis: business owners with multiple entities, significant asset portfolios, second homes and investment properties, and condominium projects that call for careful review. The right person takes pride in files that close on time and hold up afterward. You will work side by side with processing, closing, and our Loan Officers, and your judgment will carry real weight in how files are structured, conditioned, and brought to the closing table.
What Makes This Role Different:
The Full Product Range in One Seat You will not be confined to a single channel or loan type. Conventional, FHA, VA, jumbo, and Non-QM all come across your desk, which keeps the work varied and keeps your skills current across the market.
