This position will work 40 hours, Monday-Friday, with Saturday hours as needed. The expected pay is $27.07 per hour, DOE. Job Description Interviews loan applicants to develop information concerning their loan needs, earnings, and financial condition. Analyze the current financial position of members to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money. Makes decisions to approve, disapprove, or recommend the loan request to higher levels of authority. Will actively engage in needs-based selling. Qualifications Two year college degree and two to five years of similar experience required. Must be able to maintain a significant level of trust and diplomacy when working with members. Must be able to understand lending policy and then make decisions accordingly. Must have above average communication skills using normal courtesy and tact. Physical Requirements Perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 5 lbs. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in emergency situation. Must be able to operate routine office equipment including CRTs, typewriters, telephone, copier, facsimile, and calculator. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance. Working Conditions Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with minimal noise.
