Full Job Description Unicep is seeking motivated Manufacturing Operators with experience in or knowledge of FDA regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to join our growing team. AM Pay Rate:
$20.00 – $23.00 per hour, based on experience Shift Differential Available for Eligible Shifts Job Summary We are seeking a motivated Manufacturing Operator with FDA and GMP experience to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting our manufacturing processes within a pharmaceutical-grade environment, ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. Your expertise will help maintain smooth operations while adhering to strict quality protocols, contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional packaging solutions. Duties Operate manufacturing equipment and material handling tools following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols. Handle industrial chemicals and pharmaceutical ingredients with precision, adhering to chemical agent handling guidelines and PPE requirements. Perform routine inspections and quality checks on products to meet GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards. Maintain accurate documentation of production activities, including batch records and compliance logs. Support packaging operations, including material handling, labeling, and equipment setup for efficient workflow. Follow lean manufacturing principles to optimize processes, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency. Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely within warehouse and production areas. Qualifications Prior experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or a GMP-regulated environment is highly preferred. Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques and industrial chemical handling procedures. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues. Familiarity with manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulatory compliance standards such as CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice). Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for process control and documentation purposes. Valid forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment. Comfortable using PPE including respiratory protection when required, following safety protocols diligently.
