Job Description

The Sewell Team at Guild Mortgage is seeking a detail-oriented, motivated Loan Officer Assistant to help support one of the nation's top1% mortgage teams. In this role, you'll work directly with our producing branch manager and operations team to deliver a smooth, five-star client experience from application through closing. We move fast, communicate clearly, and hold a high bar. You should be proactive, organized, and genuinely enjoy helping clients and partners. Compensation:
$50,000 - $75,000 yearly
Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary contact and liaison between clients, branch manager, and assigned loan originator and conduct meetings to coordinate any follow-up items Coordinate and prepare documentation necessary for verifications and underwriting such as loan files, loan packages, credit reports, and additional mortgage application paperwork Check all loan package documents for complete accuracy and submit any discrepancies to the loan officer/ loan originator Assist with administrative duties such as making and screening calls, booking appointments, etc. Answer questions about transactions for clients and company employees to help ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
Computer proficiency required including MS Office; some CRM, MLS, DU, and proprietary mortgage software preferred Preferred degree in banking or finance, and a high school diploma or equivalent is required Although not required, having an NMLS license or training is preferred Possess an understanding of different loan products, such as conventional loans, FHA, VA, adjustable/ fixed, commercial loans, etc. 3 years of mortgage experience is a requirement.
