Job Description

Description:
Responsible for processing, administration and closing of loans. Assists loan officers with activities such as extension of loans, ensuring that loan files contain proper documentation, updating loan data, scanning and computer data entry.

Processes and administers existing loans in two or more of the following areas: Installment, commercial, and mortgage loans. Records new application and loans. Duties /
Responsibilities:
Organize and process all types of consumer/mortgage/commercial loans and prepare loan packages for booking. Maintain a pending loan file to follow up on items needed to complete documentation, whether it is from lenders, or others. Develop and maintain a professional relationship with the legal profession, appraisers, outside vendors, and Federal and State government officials. Provide assistance and support to lenders in all areas, including clearing exception items in a timely manner. Serve as a liaison between lenders and Loan Administration. Ensure proper disposition of original documents, files, general ledger tickets, and all loan data for the file. Track appraisal fees for EOY reporting Flags any new commercial notes pledged to FRB monthly Provides quarterly totals for number of loans and dollar amounts to Head of Loan Operations Perform any related and unrelated task assigned by

Abilities:
Stays informed about all types of loan and refers customers to appropriate personnel. Increase non-interest income for the bank through proper assessment of fees. Stay up to date on all regulations pertaining to lending, and duties pertaining to job function. Help control expenses.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment
