Job Description

Portfolio Manager is responsible for gathering and analyzing credit information on current borrowers; determines the advisability of granting credit for diversified types of loans, promotes business for the Bank by maintaining good customer relations and referring customers to appropriate staff for new services.

Key ResponsibilitiesReport on the assigned portfolio, including asset quality, stress testing, industry and market analysis, asset allocation, reserves, and non-performing loan analysis.

Serve as the loan-level expert for a portfolio of complex construction, permanent, and/or C&I loans.

Prepare Credit Reviews to assess asset quality, including performance against original underwriting expectations.

Experience writing policies and procedures for collateral monitoring, workouts, and periodic loan reviews.

Draft memos for any substantial changes in a borrower's financial stability or ownership structure.

Maintain knowledge of market conditions. Education and ExperienceCollege degree preferred.

Three to five years in commercial loan portfolio management or commercial credit analysis/underwriting as a minimum.

Deep experience with financial analysis.

Working knowledge of commercial lending, e.g. commercial real estate, construction and C&I products.

Experience with Abrigo/Sageworks and Jack Henry products a plus.
