Chief Credit Officer Job Summary:
To perform routine and intermediate duties related to commercial, residential and commercial construction, SBA, amortized mortgage loans, and participation loan applications. Loan Processing & Servicing- Oversee the preparation, review, and accuracy of commercial and real estate loan documentation
- Ensure that loan files are complete, accurate, and properly maintained within the loan system (CSI NuPoint) and loan documentation (LaserPro) platforms
- Perform daily balancing of loan transactions, including reviewing work and correcting errors.
- Distribute daily and monthly loan servicing reports
- Oversee and perform payments, advances, escrow analysis, and account research on commercial, consumer, and real estate loans
- Monitor and maintain collateral, loan, and documentation ticklers and exception reports to ensure timely receipt of insurance, UCC, Deeds of Trust, and Title Policy filings and other required documentation
- Assists with closing paid loans and termination collateral when applicable Compliance
- Make recommendations regarding policies, procedures, and practices related to servicing and maintaining the portfolio
- Prepare loan documents and reports for Small Business Administration (SBA), FDIC, internal and external audits and examinations
- Establish and maintain credit, collateral, and supporting documentation files to ensure compliance with Bank policies
- Administer documentation platform (CSI CenterDoc) ensuring loan documents are complete, accurate and properly indexed Customer Support
- Promote business for the Bank by maintaining good customer relations and referring customers to appropriate staff for new services.
- Opens new deposit accounts in conjunction with loan transactions or when needed to support other bank operations.
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge and skills in all areas of servicing loans.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.

- Banking Compliance Regulations. Knowledge in bank lending policies including, but not limited to: Reg B (equal credit opportunity), Reg C (Home Mortgage Disclosure), Reg E (Electronic Funds Transfers), Reb Z (Truth in Lending), Reg CC (Funds Availability), Reg DD (Truth in Savings), and Laws (Bank Secrecy Act and Right to Financial Privacy Acct).
