Mortgage Loan Product Development Specialist Strongsville, OH 44136 Apply Overview Position Type Full Time Category Quality Control Apply Description An integral part of the Product Development team that has overall responsibility for areas representing the IT, Sales, and Operations departments. This role maintains and analyzes all product development, product analytics, and training for new product integration, to ensure full compliance with guidelines, documentation and fees. Works closely with Compliance/QC Dept. to ensure products/investors and loan documents are compliant with regulatory guidelines. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned.IT:
Maintain and update all program related files. Programming of all individual loan products offered to customers. Work with software providers for resolution of any problems. Update and create loan document for compliance of loan file. Program all fees for current investor related products and regions. Ensure that all guidelines and filters are updated in a timely accurate manner.Maintain High Cost Calculator Sales:
Analyze potential product needs and investor relationships. Obtain all information needed from investors for new relationships. Conduct and draft all training related to new product rollout and/or product changes for existing loan officers. PartnerNet administrator for all investor related links and/or pertinent information.Compliance/QC:
Works closely with Quality Control to ensure products, programs and documents are compliant. Effectively introduce new products/investors to the company upon completion of risk assessment analysis of the entire loan origination process. Provide all material for potential new investor relationships to develop training procedures for the company to roll out in a timely manner.Product Management:
Analyze potential product needs and investor relationships. Obtain all information needed from investors to qualify and determine the need to develop a new relationship. Coordinate with the Training Department to draft all training related to new product rollout and/or product changes for existing staff. Implementation of individual investors and loan products offered to customers. Housing Finance Agency management. Test and report on Encompass software in relation to upgrades or software errors.Special Projects:
Work closely with members of the Senior Leadership and Rudy Committees to analyze special projects and develop action plans with date controls and accountability. Responsible for the translation of strategic ideas through implementation. Responsible for ensuring appropriate regulatory upgrades for Quality Control and Compliance. Ensure accurate and timely systems testing. Responsible for completing regulatory reviews. QualificationsSKILLS REQUIRED
Retail/Wholesale mortgage banking knowledge. Knowledge of all mortgage products, Government and Conventional. Investor relations experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent Organizational skills. In-depth analytics skills and knowledge. Mortgage software programming knowledge is a plus.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience. Experience in mortgage operations, sales, training or compliance preferred 2+ years of Product Development experience a plus This employer participates in E-Verify.
