JOB SUMMARY
As part of Advocus National Title Agency's expansion into Florida, we are building a premier residential title and escrow operation with our first direct office in the Orlando market. Our goal is to establish a high-performing team that delivers exceptional service while becoming a trusted partner to Realtors, lenders, builders, and consumers throughout Central Florida. To support this growth, we are seeking experienced Escrow Officers and Escrow Leadership professionals who are excited about helping build something from the ground up. We are looking for individuals who not only excel at managing residential purchase transactions, but who also have an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for growing a business. Position Overview The Senior Escrow Officer will be responsible for managing residential purchase transactions from contract through closing while delivering an outstanding customer experience. In addition to managing escrow files, this individual will play an active role in business development, community engagement, and expanding Advocus' presence throughout the Orlando market. Candidates with leadership experience will also have the opportunity to recruit, mentor, and lead an escrow team while helping establish operational best practices and supporting future expansion throughout Florida.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities- Manage residential purchase transactions from opening through post-closing.
- Coordinate with buyers, sellers, Realtors, lenders, builders, attorneys, and other transaction partners.
- Review contracts, title commitments, lender instructions, and closing documents for accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare settlement statements, Closing Disclosures, escrow instructions, and closing packages.
- Conduct closings while providing exceptional customer service.
- Maintain escrow accounting, file integrity, and compliance with Florida regulations and underwriter guidelines.
- Resolve title, funding, and closing issues efficiently and professionally.
- Meet production, quality, and customer service expectations.
Ideal candidates will:
- Bring an existing book of business and strong relationships within the local market.
- Actively cultivate relationships with Realtors, mortgage lenders, builders, attorneys, and other referral partners.
- Participate in networking events, industry associations, and community organizations.
- Partner with Advocus sales leadership to expand market share and increase transaction volume.
- Represent Advocus as a trusted title and escrow resource throughout Central Florida. Leadership Responsibilities (Leadership Candidates) Leadership candidates may also:
- Recruit, coach, and mentor escrow professionals.
- Build and lead a high-performing office culture.
- Establish operational workflows and service standards.
- Partner with executive leadership on strategic growth initiatives.
- Monitor office performance, customer satisfaction, and operational results.
- Help identify future expansion opportunities throughout Florida.
QUALIFICATIONS AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Five or more years of Florida residential purchase escrow experience preferred.
- Proven experience successfully handling residential purchase transactions.
- Established relationships with Realtors, lenders, builders, and referral partners.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and grow a book of business.
- Strong knowledge of Florida title insurance, escrow procedures, and settlement practices.
- Excellent communication, organizational, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple transactions while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- Leadership or branch management experience preferred for leadership roles.
- Florida Title Agent License and/or Florida Notary Public preferred, where applicable.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree or other professional licensing preferred. Seven years of proven managerial or supervisory experience. Broad knowledge of title insurance and real estate conveyance procedures.
