The Role We're hiring a Loan Officer Assistant to support our producing LOs and keep loan files moving from application to clear-to-close. This is a hands-on, fast paced role with a real path to LO if you want it. Most shops use LOAs as cheap labor. We don't. Mortgo's LOAs work directly with top producers, get hands-on training across the full loan lifecycle, and have a real path to becoming licensed Loan Officers. We sponsor and pay for your NMLS licensing, walk you through exam prep, and get you licensed in multiple states as you grow. We mentor you. We promote from within. What You'll Do Collect and review borrower documentation (income, assets, ID, credit) Prepare loan applications and disclosures Communicate with borrowers throughout the loan process Coordinate with processors, underwriters, and title companies Track pipeline status Support LOs in client follow-up and pre-qualification What You Bring 1+ year of mortgage industry experience is preferred, but no experience needed!
