Job Description

Title:
Home Mortgage Loan Post- Closing Specialist Location:
Franklin, TN 37067 (5 days Onsite) Temporary Post Closing Reviewer needed to cover LOA, with the possibility to convert to permanent. Government and bond experience is a plus, though candidates may work with conventional, government, or bond loans. Tasks are assigned daily through an output file. Loans vary, but the process remains the same. Some work may carry over to the next day and requires updating systems. Work is onsite, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM. The role involves a mix of physical (paper) and online documents. Training focuses mainly on learning the system and typically takes about one week for candidates already familiar with post-closing documents and terminology. The team works in Empower.
Description:
As the HM Post Closing Specialist, you will be responsible for managing warehouse unpurchased loan pipelines, obtaining necessary documentation to perfect a loan for delivery to Investors or Insurance with an agency, performing Compliance and ad hoc audits, providing suspense and error trend analysis to the Operations Centers, and addressing other issues which may arise after loan closing. You will be responsible for a variety of functions within Post Closing including but not limited to; clearing investor or agency suspense conditions, working with EMB lenders, title companies or counties to address outstanding final documents, working with borrowers to address loan deficiencies to allow insuring or guaranty of government loans, management of the escrow holdback process, performing compliance audits, ordering property inspections on properties located in disaster areas and resolving other issues which arise post-closing.
Responsibilities:
Review and audit required closing documents from closing Agents and ensure all funding conditions have been satisfied including reviewing and auditing all original and final CD closing disclosure for any changes. Ensure all Loan documents meet applicable FAMC, State and Federal compliance regulations. Coordinate with closing agent and broker to gather any missing items at closing. Final documents follow up. Release Funding number to closing agent Once all Reviews and audits are complete. Disaster Inspections. Experience required
Pay:
$19.00 - $20.80 per hour Application Question(s): Minimum 1-2 years of mortgage post-closing experience. Experience reviewing Closing Disclosures (CDs) and post-closing documents. Experience with Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, or Bond loans.
