Job Description

The primary objective of this company is to be the premier real estate title company in Johnson City, Tennessee, meeting the needs of all clientele while maintaining the highest professional standards. Further objectives of the firm are: To have a well-organized, well-managed, productive title company and real estate closing office that can make a profitable contribution to our clients; To provide a work product that is timely, accurate, and of value to our clients; To be fair, honest, and ethical in all dealings with our clients, employees and vendors; To do everything we can to make this title company an excellent place to work and an asset to both our social and legal communities.
Job Responsibilities:
Examine and clear requirements on title commitments and lender closing instructions for compliance status Provide constant communication with realtors, lenders, mortgage brokers and clients to ensure quick and accurate transactions Order, review and disclose matters on surveys, sales contracts, insurance certificates, pest inspections, HOA documents, payoffs, etc. Assist with preparation of CDs, settlement statements, and other settlement documents Set expectations with and prepare the client for the settlement Conduct real estate closings Prepare and timely deliver all settlement documents to the parties involved Review and monitor all files before, during and after the closings to prevent and resolve any potential problems Maintain professional demeanor and a high level of customer service at all times Assist others where needed and perform any other duties that the position requires. Work closely with staff to relay information regarding clients as well as referring possible prospective clients.
Qualifications:
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH LOAN
PROCESSING and/or
REAL ESTATE LOAN CLOSINGS
Must be able to work well with people, details and deadlines and people. Professional and dependable. Capable of working in a fast paced environment. Have a positive and enthusiastic attitude and work well with others. Outstanding customer service and follow through skills. Must pass a background check and drug test. Must be proficient in windows based computing; literate in MS Word and Outlook. Knowledge of SoftPro closing software a plus. Be a Tennessee Notary Public or eligible to be commissioned.
