Consumer Relationship Officer at Northwest Federal Credit Union Consumer Relationship Officer at Northwest Federal Credit Union in Herndon, Virginia Posted in 1 day ago. $24.00 - $40.76 per hour Overview The Consumer Relationship Officer (CRO) works directly with existing members to educate them on Northwest Federal Credit Union products and services. By way of outbound phone calls, the CRO fosters a relationship with members and follows up as needed to ensure their Credit Union related needs are satisfied and to cross-offer them products and services they may benefit from. The CRO will complete loan applications and collect applicable documentation as needed for review and decisioning by the Consumer Lending Underwriting team. They will communicate the loan decisions and coordinate the delivery of the loan closing documents and subsequent loan disbursement with the Consumer Lending Processing team. This sales role includes a base salary plus monthly incentive plan tied to new loan production goals, ancillary sales and closed referrals on other credit union products and services. Incentive is paid monthly and is in lieu of an annual corporate bonus payout. Responsibilities Outbound calling to 350+ members each month to educate on available Credit Union products and services Recognizes and pursues cross selling opportunities on Credit Union products and services Create future touch points and complete timely follow up as needed for all leads Complete loan applications and submit to the Consumer Lending Underwriting Team for loan decisions Coordinate loan disbursement with the Consumer Lending Processing Team Meet monthly loan production targets and closed referral goals as directed by management Remains cognizant of and adheres to NWFCU policies and procedures as well as regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) #NWFCU1 Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 2 years of experience as a consumer loan officer, consumer loan processor or equivalent experience Must have experience reading and deciphering Equifax credit reporting Ability to work Mon-Fri 8:30AM - 5:30PM, with evenings and Saturdays as needed (time will be offset) Ability to adhere to Consumer Lending regulations, policies and procedures along with Credit Union BSA and other compliance related requirements Prior experience working in a high paced detailed oriented role with a record of meeting sales goals Ability to use standard office equipment and systems Ability to review and analyze or interpret data and documentation Effective oral and written communication skills Must be self-driven with the ability to work independently to achieve sales goals Ability to collaborate and be an effective member of a team Ability to maintain confidentiality Excellent customer service skills Accuracy and detail-orientation Quality-focused Additional Compensation Northwest Federal offers a comprehensive and inclusive benefits program, which includes medical, dental and vision plans for you and your family, 4 weeks paid vacation, 12 paid holidays, 24 hours of paid volunteer time, parental leave, company paid disability and life insurance, and a generous 401(k) plan with up to 7% employer match.
