Job Description
Position SummaryThe Mortgage Loan Officer is responsible for originating and servicing residential mortgage, construction, lot, refinance, and home equity lending products. This role partners with customers throughout the lending process, from application through closing, while ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements. The Mortgage Loan Officer also cultivates referral sources, develops new business opportunities, and represents NEBAT in the community to support continued growth and exceptional customer service.
Essential Knowledge & Skills Bachelors degree in finance or a related field.4-5 years of banking experience or equivalent combination of education and experience with secondary market loans and formal credit training. Interpersonal skills to build relationships and communicate with internal and external customers.
