Job Description

Title Processor Location:
Tampa, FL |
In-Office Type:
Full-time Pay:
$18-$22/hour, depending on experience About the Opportunity If you know title, know how to keep a file moving, and are looking for a position where your experience actually matters, we'd love to meet you. We are a growing title company with transactions across the country, and we're looking for an experienced Title Processor to join our Tampa office. You'll work on transactions in multiple states, work with different requirements and parties, and play an important role in getting each file from opening to closing. This isn't a position where you'll simply be checking boxes all day. We want someone who understands the title process, can anticipate what a file needs next, and takes ownership of their transactions. You'll learn our systems, processes, and way of doing things, but after training, we expect you to be able to run with your files independently. What You'll Do Manage title files from opening through closing Review title commitments, preliminary reports, and requirements Work through title requirements and keep transactions moving toward closing Order, track, and follow up on payoffs, lien releases, HOA/condo documents, surveys, and other necessary items Communicate with buyers, sellers, lenders, agents, attorneys, underwriters, and other parties throughout the transaction Coordinate with examiners, underwriters, closers, and other members of the team Prepare files and documentation for closing Monitor deadlines and outstanding items and make sure nothing falls through the cracks Process transactions across multiple states and navigate state-specific requirements Spot potential problems early and take initiative to get them resolved Keep detailed and accurate electronic files Manage multiple transactions at different stages without losing track of the details Help improve our processes as we continue to grow The Person We're Looking For We're looking for someone who knows how to own a file. You don't need someone checking behind you every five minutes. You know what needs to happen next, you follow up when something is outstanding, and you speak up when you see a problem.
You are:
Experienced in processing title transactions across multiple states Comfortable working with state-specific title and closing requirements Highly organized and extremely detail-oriented A strong communicator who responds promptly and professionally A problem-solver who knows how to figure things out Comfortable juggling multiple transactions and competing deadlines Tech-savvy and able to pick up new systems quickly Dependable, proactive, and willing to take ownership Someone who takes pride in getting the details right Experience That Will Stand Out Multi-state title processing experience Experience working with multiple title underwriters Experience handling a high volume of transactions Commercial title experience Familiarity with title and escrow software Real estate or legal industry experience Bilingual Spanish/English Why Join Us? $18-$22/hour, depending on experience Full-time, in-office position in Tampa Work on nationwide real estate transactions rather than being limited to one state Gain exposure to different state-specific title requirements and closing practices Join a growing operation where your experience and ideas can actually make a difference Training on our systems and procedures, without the expectation that you'll need constant hand-holding Opportunity to take on more responsibility as you grow with the company Room for advancement as the operation continues to expand Work alongside a team that values people who are smart, proactive, dependable, and willing to take ownership How to Apply Send us your resume and a short note telling us about your title processing experience, the states you've worked in, and what you're looking for in your next opportunity. If you're the kind of person who sees a title file and immediately knows what needs to happen next, we want to hear from you.
