at First Southern Bank in Marion, Illinois, United States Job Description This position is under the direction of the Loan Doc Prep Supervisor and is responsible for performing routine daily duties. Promotes business for the Bank by serving every customer in a friendly, efficient manner.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for daily review of new notes audit for loans to be imaged for all branches. Imaging and filing of all new loans. Importing follow-up files items into the imaging system such as recorded mortgages, titles, final title policies, file notes etc. Responsibility of monitoring and updating the tickler report for all branches. Assist lenders and personal bankers with loan documentation preparation for new consumer loans. Backup for the loan file maintenance clerk. Assist the Loan Documentation Prep Supervisor with projects as needed.

SKILLS REQUIRED

High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum two years loan experience preferred Knowledge of loan documents & loan process is a plus Proficient use of adding machines Proficient in Excel and Word Good interpersonal and customer service skills Travel may be required to other locations to fill in for team members as needed.
