Mortgage Construction Specialist Liberty Federal Credit Union - 3.5 Evansville, IN Job Details Full-time 16 hours ago Benefits Paid holidays Disability insurance Health insurance Dental insurance Tuition reimbursement Paid time off Vision insurance 401(k) matching Life insurance Qualifications Customer communication Full Job Description Liberty FCU, a full-service credit union, is currently seeking a full-time Mortgage Construction Specialist . The candidate must be detail oriented and provide an exceptional member and builder experience. Mortgage loan experience is preferred. This position will be stationed at 4405 Theater Dr, Evansville, IN, 47715. Candidates must be available to work Saturdays on a rotating basis. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Perform all aspects of construction and renovation loan servicing during the construction phase for all divisions of the credit union, including; Set up construction parameters within the servicing software. Process draw requests when received. Communicate with the member and builder throughout the construction process. Monitor the use of construction loan funds. Order and review updates provided by third party vendors. Maintain records of payments to third party vendors. Perform all aspects of construction loan conversion to permanent financing for all divisions of the credit union, including; Verify home has been completed prior to conversion. Prepare loan modifications when necessary. Review and execute rate float-downs when applicable. Update the servicing software with appropriate loan information. Review construction transactions in the servicing software. Review requests from new builders, renovators and contractors to be activated by the credit union. Provide excellent service when interacting with employees, members or builders. Develop a working knowledge of the credit union's data and word processing systems. Serve on the Saturday schedule on a rotating basis. Develop an understanding of credit union history, philosophy, organization, bylaws, and operational procedures. Any other duties assigned by the supervisor or management.
