Full Job Description Summary:

Full-Time Loan Assistant

• 40 hours/week

Availability:

Monday

• Friday 8:00am
• 5:00pm
• Springfield (Flexibility required) Essential Job Functions Generate new loan documents in our loan documentation software and review any attorney prepared documentation.

Review and produce renewal and modifications to existing credits. Assist loan officer in all aspects of lending. Accept payments. Communicate with title companies in the ordering of title searches and insurance. Order appraisals, when necessary, on real estate transactions. Handle insurance and other third parties related to lending transaction. Have a solid understanding of all bank products. (Loan and Deposit) Load new and renewed loans onto our core operating system. All other loan operations and processing duties as assigned. Complete all required training. Help coordinate participations and wires for all bought and sold loans. Assist with compliance of all affordable housing and new market tax credit loans. Sit on closing calls and follow development loans through completion and stabilization. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Competencies Confidentiality Excellent verbal skills The ability to handle multiple functions at the same time Quick independent decision-making skills Positive attitude and highly motivated Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook experience Education and Experience Previous loan assisting experience preferred Previous banking experience preferred
