Full Job Description Summary:
Loan Operations Specialist is a generalized role which includes but is not limited to Pre-Closing Review, Post-Closing Review, Processing, Boarding, and Servicing of loans. Full-Time Position |
Availability:
Mon - Fri, 8:00am - 5:00pm, Springfield, MO Essential Job Functions Understand and demonstrate Legacy Bank and Trust corporate values in all situations and interactions. Provide support and assistance for all loan-related functions. Assess loan requests, documentation created, and other documentation related to new loans, renewals, and modifications ensuring compliance with loan policies and regulations, and that proper approval was obtained when applicable, prior to the customer signing the documents. Review final documentation for new loans, renewals, and modifications for dates, signatures, etc. Demonstrate solid working knowledge of Loan Processing guidelines and requirements ensuring all requests comply with bank lending policies, as well as state and federal lending regulations. Input loan information and documentation accurately into the necessary software program to originate loan documents. Enter all loan information and maintenance into the Core system. Process insurance and tax escrow disbursements. Verify and process requests to resolve collateral, document, and financial exceptions. Balance various accounts. Process loan payments. Maintain document imaging database. Review and maintain a variety of lending reports. Assist with audit requests as needed. Complete and attend all training as identified by the bank and Loan Operations. All other Loan Operations duties as assigned. May be assigned work or training at other locations. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Competencies Excellent verbal and written skills Strong attention to detail The ability to handle multiple functions at the same time Quick independent decision-making skills Must be able to work independently and as a team Positive attitude and highly motivated Must possess good judgement and handle information in a confidential manner Ability to deal effectively, courteously, and professionally with a large number of associates Maintain a neat and orderly work area Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook experience Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent
Physical Requirements Onsite Position Seeing :
Must be able to see well enough to see computer screen and read documents ( 75-100% of work time spent on activity ).
Hearing :
Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with customers, vendors, and employees ( 75-100% of work time spent on activity ).
Sitting :
Must be able to sit for long periods of time ( 50-74% of work time spent on activity ).
Standing/Walking :
Must be able to move about office (25 -49% of work time spent on activity ).
Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling :
Must be able to stoop or kneel to pick up paper products or materials (0-24 % of work time spent on activity ).
Lifting/Pulling/Pushing :
Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds ( 0-24% of work time spent on activity ).
Grasping/Feeling :
Must be able to write, type and use technical equipment ( 75-100% of work time spent on activity ).
