• Process incoming payments by opening envelopes, extracting checks/invoices, and preparing deposits according to client specifications.
• Sort, separate, and organize payment documents while following established processing procedures.
• Accurately enter payment amounts from checks into a computer-based software system.
• Follow account-specific instructions and maintain quality standards while processing transactions.
• Maintain a clean work area and support additional operational tasks as assigned. Candidates for Lockbox Payment Processor must meet the following requirements to be considered:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer skills and ability to navigate software applications.
• Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy.
• Good organizational skills and ability to follow detailed procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs., perform repetitive tasks, and sit for extended periods. Preferred Qualifications
• 1+ year of banking, payment processing, lockbox, mailroom, or operations experience.
