Job Description
The Loan Closer is responsible for preparing all closing documents on real estate loans, home equity and modifications in a timely and accurate manner. In addition, the Loan Closer will work diligently with title agencies on closings and ensure that there is compliance with all regulations. The Loan Closer types accurate closing documents, submits closing fees to the title agency, reviews CD/HUD statements and closing docs, prepares coupon books, and funding wires/checks. Tracks and manages closed loan files on the loan software and team calendar. Completes the loan checklist to indicate all documents needed in order to have a complete loan file. Cross trains within the team and works closely with the Processor to ensure proper coverage and backup. Transfers and passes off loan files in a timely manner. Complete all other tasks/duties as needed while maintaining great customer service internally and externally. Other duties as assigned.
