Maps Credit Union Description:
The Commercial Loan Operations Specialist supports the financial stability of the credit union by performing a wide range of administrative, processing, and servicing duties related to commercial loans. This role partners closely with Commercial Loan Officers, Analysts, members, and external service providers to ensure efficient, accurate, and compliant loan origination, closing, and ongoing servicing.
Key Responsibilities include:
Assist with origination, processing, closing, servicing, and maintenance of commercial loan files. Maintain ongoing communication with Loan Officers, Analysts, borrowers, and third parties. Order required documents such as credit reports, verifications, and escrow set-up items. Review and track loan conditions; follow up on outstanding items. Prepare loan documents and audit executed documents for completeness and accuracy. Complete loan funding, post-closing quality control, and file reviews. Process loan payoffs, reconveyances, participation payments, and HMDA tracking. Coordinate with internal and external partners to support timely loan monitoring and reviews Follow all regulatory and policy requirements, including BSA, OFAC, AML, and Identity Theft Red Flags. Ensure documentation and processes meet internal policies and applicable laws.
Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management abilities. Ability to work independently with high accuracy and attention to detail. Strong relationship-building and member-service orientation. Ability to analyze data and prepare reports. Flexibility and adaptability within changing work environments. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. Professional experience and/or training in commercial or real estate lending preferred. 3-5 years of business banking, relationship management, or related experience preferred. Valid Oregon driver's license. Must be bondable.
Starting Salary Range:
$26.62•$33.27 per hour.
Typical schedule:
Monday•Friday, 8:00 AM•5:00 PM.
