  • As a Capital Markets Support Specialist , you will provide operational and organizational support across the Capital Markets department, helping ensure loans, documentation, data, conditions, and collateral are accurately tracked and prepared for sale.
This entry-level role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn while supporting multiple areas of the loan sale process. Key Responsibilities Assist with tracking loans through the Capital Markets pipeline and preparing files for upcoming loan sales Monitor outstanding credit, due diligence, documentation, and collateral conditions and help ensure required items are received and cleared timely Assist with data entry and data validation to ensure loan information is accurate and complete within company systems Maintain Capital Markets tracking tools, reports, spreadsheets, and system records Support the collateral function by tracking original documents, custodial status, collateral exceptions, trailing documents, shipments, releases, and transfers Provide backup support for communication with custodial banks and other third party partners Scan, upload, organize, retrieve, file, and maintain physical and electronic loan documentation Assist with due diligence by tracking open conditions and communicating outstanding items to the appropriate internal teams Follow up with internal departments and external partners to help move outstanding items toward resolution Provide flexible support across the department based on current volume, deadlines, loan sale activity, and team priorities Qualifications Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities Exceptional attention to detail and an ability to recognize when information does not appear complete or consistent Strong follow through and willingness to take ownership of assigned items through completion Comfortable working with spreadsheets, databases, electronic files, and physical documents Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other common business applications Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability and willingness to learn new systems, processes, terminology, and requirements Comfortable working in office in a fast paced environment where priorities may shift based on deadlines and transaction activity Dependable, curious, teachable, and willing to ask questions Mortgage, lending, banking, title, servicing, or financial services experience is helpful but not required What Success Looks Like Success in this role means becoming a dependable member of the Capital Markets team who helps keep loans organized, accurate, and ready for sale. Over time, this individual will develop a broad understanding of the loan life cycle and become a versatile resource capable of supporting multiple areas of the process.
