JOB SUMMARY

The loan processor is responsible for gathering, reviewing, and verifying all documentation required for commercial mortgage loan applications and managing the workflow of the loan from application through closing. This role all loan files are complete, accurate and compliant with regulatory and underwriting guidelines.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Review incoming loan applications for accuracy and completeness.
  • Collect and verify borrower documentation (e.g., income, assets, credit reports, property appraisals).
  • Communicate with loan officers, underwriters, title companies, and borrowers to ensure timely and accurate processing.
  • Maintain accurate loan files and update internal systems throughout the process.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and investor regulations and guidelines.
  • Prepare files for underwriting and closing.
  • Review files for errors or inconsistencies and follow up promptly to correct them.
  • Maintain high standards of accuracy and quality in all aspects of loan processing.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Education
  • Associates degree preferred in Business or other related field.
  • Previous Experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in real estate processing, underwriting, or servicing preferred.
SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES

Goal-oriented, self-motivated and highly-detailed. Possess knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and be able to learn job-related software. Ability to conduct relationships in a manner that will ensure cooperation and positive results. A Good Attitude is a must.
