Consumer Loan Specialist
Job Description
Experience in Consumer and Mortgage lending is required. Experience in Indirect Lending is a plus. Gather information from applicants for both consumer and mortgage requests. Analyze and screen requests for all types of loans CECU offers. Review new laws and regulations that influence lending. Make recommendations to management when necessary. Underwrite loans and prepare all necessary documents for approval plus ensure all documents are in compliance with CECU policies and legal requirements. Individual needs to possess the skills, ability and knowledge to execute job functions in a satisfactory manner. Must have a minimum of two (2) years of consumer lending experience and basic knowledge of Mortgage lending. Having an NMLS number and active notary is a plus. Must be able to read and understand tax returns, financial statements, cash flow and debt coverage analysis.
