Underwriting Processor

CropGuard Group is searching for a Data Processor to join our crop insurance team. We are a growing company with a HIGH possibility for advancement (to be explained in detail during the interview). As crop insurance specialists, we provide a dedicated service to our customers. We pride ourselves on sitting down with our customers and discussing changes that occur with Multi-Peril Crop Insurance from year to year. Primary Responsibilities Gathering customer information Supporting crop insurance agents through high quality work Verifying documents for accuracy Working with maps of customers' farming operations Performing administrative duties such as preparing mailings, maintaining electronic customer files, and answering phones Print status reports to ensure coverage continuation Contribute to a positive work environment by demonstrating accountability, flexibility, continuous improvement, collaboration and creativity Preferred Competencies/Skills Quickly and accurately perform data entry Use multiple resources to gather and analyze information Understand the needs and goals of a customer and actively look for ways to meet them Build and maintain professional networks Complete tasks by taking decisive or quick action Utilize established procedures to guide decision-making Communicate information in a clear, well-organized, and professional manner Follow established guidelines to focus on details and complete tasks attentively and thoroughly Demonstrate multitasking while maintaining accuracy skill Maintain highest confidentiality Quickly learn and understand High attention to detail Adapt and be flexible in a complex changing environment Demonstrated interest in enhancing knowledge; seeks opportunities to learn and grow Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy Able to self-start and manage beginning to end Travel Frequency Must be available to travel for training Approximately 1-4 training trips annually Qualifications High school diploma, or equivalent.
