Join our Team as a Commercial Loan Processor Join our team as a Commercial Loan Processor and play a key role in supporting our loan department with accuracy and efficiency. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who excels in customer service and loan documentation. This position is based out of our Appleton, WI branch.

What You'll Do:
Engage daily with loan customers, assisting with loan closings, processing documents, directing customers to appropriate officers, answering questions, and resolving errors. Utilize loan processing software to generate accurate loan documents and prepare necessary forms for new or renewed loans. Process various loan types, including consumer, commercial, agricultural, real estate, Interest Rate Swap loans, Small Business Administration (SBA) lending, and Farm Service Agency (FSA) lending. File collateral documents with appropriate authorities and maintain accurate loan records. Stay informed about Federal and State regulations relevant to loan processing and ensure compliance. Utilize imaging systems for document retention, scanning, and indexing. Use the core system for loan entry, transaction posting, account updates, and file maintenance. Manage loan document tracking to ensure accurate and up-to-date suspense reports. Order flood determinations, credit bureau reports, title searches, UCC searches, appraisals, and other supporting documents. Communicate with internal teams to resolve errors and enhance efficiency. Handle incoming and outgoing mail, faxing, and photocopying as needed. Process loan payments and maintain charge-offs, non-accruals, and participations. Review reports, balance general ledger accounts, and ensure all loan-related tasks are completed timely.

What We're Looking For:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
Previous banking experience required.
Skills:
Strong attention to detail, organizational abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Communication:
Excellent verbal and written skills for customer interactions and documentation.
Technical:
Familiarity with loan processing software and financial systems is a plus.
Other Requirements:
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and adapt to changes in technology and regulations. May require travel between bank locations using a personal vehicle.
