In this vital role, you will oversee the night shift at the front desk, manage property management systems, and uphold the highest standards of customer service. Your proactive approach will help maintain hotel security, handle guest inquiries, and ensure accurate financial reconciliation—all while creating a welcoming environment for our guests during the overnight hours. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality management skills in a fast-paced, guest-focused setting. Responsibilities Conduct nightly audits of guest accounts using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all transactions. Manage front desk operations during overnight hours, including check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries with professionalism and warmth. Handle all phone communication with guests, vendors, and internal departments using proper phone etiquette and customer service problem-solving skills. Monitor hotel security through CCTV surveillance and perform routine property inspections to maintain safety and security protocols. Prepare detailed shift reports, incident reports, and financial summaries to ensure smooth handovers to morning staff. Assist with guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and efficiently, providing exceptional service that enhances guest satisfaction. Follow hotel emergency procedures diligently to respond effectively to any incidents or safety concerns during the night shift. Qualifications Proven experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel or resort environment. Familiarity with hospitality reservation systems such as OPERA or similar property management systems (PMS). Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guest populations effectively. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and problem-solving in high-pressure situations. Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures, security protocols, and night audit processes. Excellent communication skills via phone and in person; ability to handle client communication professionally. Previous resort experience or working in a hotel with extensive guest services is preferred.
