Pier House 60 Marina Hotel Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Agent/Night Auditor to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth operation during the night shift. The ideal candidate will possess strong hospitality management skills, be proficient in guest relations, and have a keen attention to detail. As the first point of contact for guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Responsibilities Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression. Manage front desk operations, including check-ins and check-outs, while maintaining accurate records. Conduct night audits to ensure all financial transactions are balanced and accurately recorded. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, providing solutions to enhance guest satisfaction. Operate multi-line phone systems efficiently, responding to calls promptly and courteously. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready for occupancy. Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including managing reservations and processing payments. Qualifications Previous experience in hotel management or hospitality is preferred, with a focus on front desk operations. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests from diverse backgrounds. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to a wider range of guests. Familiarity with night audit procedures is an asset but not required; training will be provided. Excellent phone etiquette and proficiency in using multi-line phone systems. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. A passion for providing outstanding guest services within the hospitality industry is essential.
