Job Description
Position Title:
Night Auditor Position Summary The Night Auditor is responsible for overseeing front desk operations during overnight hours while ensuring the accuracy of daily financial transactions. This position combines guest service responsibilities with accounting and audit functions to maintain smooth hotel operations throughout the night. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Greet and assist guests with check-ins, check-outs, and general inquiries. Provide exceptional guest service and resolve guest concerns professionally. Perform nightly audit procedures to balance and reconcile daily transactions. Verify guest accounts, room charges, payments, and revenue postings. Prepare daily financial reports and distribute them to management as required. Process credit card, and other payment transactions accurately. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures. Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments as needed. Answer incoming phone calls and handle reservations when required. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous hotel front desk, customer service, or accounting experience preferred. Knowledge of hotel property management systems preferred. Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.Benefits
