Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Night Auditor, where your energy and attention to detail will ensure seamless overnight operations and exceptional guest experiences. In this vital role, you will oversee the night shift, balancing administrative duties with guest relations to maintain the highest standards of service and security. Responsibilities Conduct nightly audits of all hotel transactions using property management systems (PMS) such as or similar platforms, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records. Manage guest check-ins and check-outs during the overnight hours, providing friendly and professional customer service via phone and in person. IHG experience preffered Handle guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and emergency procedures. Monitor security cameras and perform visual inspections of the property to ensure safety and security standards are maintained throughout the night. Prepare detailed shift reports, incident logs, and audit summaries to communicate operational status to management. Assist with administrative tasks such as updating reservation records, processing billing adjustments, and managing property management system (PMS) entries. Respond swiftly to hotel emergencies following established protocols, coordinating with local authorities if necessary. Requirements Proven experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel environment. Familiarity with hotel reservation systems like OPERA or other property management systems (PMS). Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette, problem-solving, and guest relations. Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guest populations effectively. Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures, security protocols, and night audit processes. Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—to ensure clear client communication and team collaboration. Resort or hotel experience is preferred; previous night audit experience is a plus.
