Duties Welcome and assist guests arriving during the night shift with professionalism and warmth, ensuring a positive first impression. Conduct nightly audits of guest accounts, reservations, and financial transactions using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar platforms. Balance and reconcile daily revenue reports, ensuring accuracy in billing and accounting procedures. Respond promptly to guest inquiries or issues via multi-line phone systems, providing solutions that enhance guest satisfaction. Maintain security by monitoring CCTV surveillance, conducting property inspections, and adhering to hotel emergency procedures. Prepare detailed shift reports, incident logs, and audit documentation to ensure seamless handovers between shifts. Handle reservations, cancellations, modifications, and special requests with attention to detail using hospitality reservation systems. Communicate effectively with front desk staff, housekeeping, maintenance, and management to coordinate guest services smoothly. Uphold phone etiquette standards when interacting with guests over the phone or in person, demonstrating excellent customer service problem-solving skills. Assist with late-night check-ins or check-outs while ensuring compliance with hotel policies and guest relations standards. Experience Previous experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel or resort environment is highly preferred. Familiarity with property management systems (PMS), especially OPERA or comparable platforms used for reservations and billing. Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally and efficiently. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse clientele effectively, but not mandatory. Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures ensures safety and quick response during unexpected situations. Experience with multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette enhances communication clarity during busy night hours. Prior resort experience or working within a hospitality environment that emphasizes guest relations will be considered a plus.
