The Night Auditor plays a vital role in ensuring the accuracy of daily financial transactions, providing exceptional guest services during overnight hours, and maintaining the smooth operation of the front desk. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with hospitality experience to contribute to a welcoming and efficient guest experience while working overnight shifts. Duties Perform nightly audit procedures to reconcile daily financial transactions, including room charges, payments, and billing. Prepare and review reports related to hotel revenue, occupancy, and other operational metrics. Handle guest check-ins and check-outs during late hours, ensuring a seamless experience. Respond promptly to guest inquiries via phone or in person, providing exceptional customer service. Manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy, adhering to phone etiquette standards. Assist with guest relations by addressing concerns and providing information about hotel amenities and local attractions. Maintain security protocols by monitoring hotel premises during overnight hours. Ensure the front desk area remains organized, clean, and welcoming for guests arriving or departing during night hours. Qualifications Previous experience in hospitality management, front desk operations, or hotel management is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest inquiries professionally. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for effective communication with diverse guests. Experience with night audit procedures or similar roles in hotels or resorts is advantageous. Excellent phone etiquette and proficiency with multi-line phone systems are essential. Knowledge of hotel operations, guest services, and hospitality industry standards is preferred. Ability to work overnight shifts reliably and independently while maintaining attention to detail. Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
