Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Front Desk Clerk/Night Auditor to join our team. This role is crucial in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth operations during the night shift. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to guest satisfaction, contributing to a welcoming environment for all guests. Duties Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression. Manage front desk operations, including check-ins and check-outs, while maintaining accurate guest records. Conduct night audits to verify and balance daily transactions, ensuring financial accuracy. Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally, fostering strong guest relations. Operate multi-line phone systems to manage incoming calls efficiently and provide information as needed. Assist with reservations and provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area to enhance the guest experience. Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless service delivery. Skills Strong background in hospitality management or hotel management is preferred. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Proficiency in front desk operations and experience with night audit procedures is highly desirable. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests. Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and effective phone etiquette. Previous hotel or resort experience is beneficial for understanding guest services dynamics. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining high service standards.
