In this vital role, you will oversee the night shift, balancing administrative duties with guest relations to maintain the highest standards of service and security. Your expertise in hotel management systems and customer service will help create a welcoming environment for all guests while ensuring operational accuracy and safety during overnight hours. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to be the backbone of our hotel's nighttime excellence. Duties Conduct nightly audits using PEP to reconcile accounts, verify reservations, and update guest records accurately. Manage front desk operations during the night shift, including check-ins, check-outs, and handling guest inquiries with professionalism and warmth. Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve issues efficiently, demonstrating strong customer service problem-solving skills. Maintain security protocols conducting patrols of the property and managing access control for staff and guests. Prepare detailed shift reports, incident logs, and financial summaries to ensure smooth handovers to daytime staff. Enforce hotel emergency procedures in accordance with safety regulations, including evacuation plans and incident response protocols. Communicate effectively via phone and in person with guests, staff, vendors, and emergency responders to ensure clear client communication. Experience Proven experience in hotel front desk operations at properties utilizing PEP or similar PMS platforms. Strong knowledge of hotel emergency procedures, guest services best practices, and property management systems (PMS). Demonstrated ability to handle customer service issues with professionalism and tact in a fast-paced setting. Previous night audit or night shift experience in a hotel or resort environment is preferred.
