Job Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Night Auditor, where you'll be the vital link ensuring smooth overnight operations at our hotel. This energetic role combines guest relations, administrative duties, and security responsibilities to provide exceptional service and maintain the highest standards of hotel management. As a Night Auditor, you will be the first point of contact during nighttime hours, delivering a seamless experience for our guests while safeguarding property and ensuring accurate financial reconciliation. • Duties Welcome and assist guests arriving during overnight hours, providing friendly and professional customer service through front desk interactions, phone communication, and guest inquiries. Conduct nightly audits of all financial transactions using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar platforms to ensure accuracy in billing and record-keeping. Prepare detailed reports on daily revenue, occupancy, and other operational metrics to support hotel management in decision-making processes. Maintain security protocols by monitoring CCTV surveillance, conducting routine property inspections, and responding promptly to emergency procedures or guest concerns. Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications using hospitality reservation systems while providing clear communication in multiple languages or bilingual settings when applicable. Handle guest complaints or issues with professionalism, problem-solving skills, and empathy to enhance guest satisfaction and foster positive relations. Complete shift reports, incident logs, and ensure all documentation adheres to hotel policies and safety standards. Experience Proven experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within hotels or resorts is highly preferred. Familiarity with property management systems (PMS), especially OPERA or similar platforms used in hotel management. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via phone etiquette and client communication channels. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse guests efficiently. Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures, guest services, and hospitality reservation systems enhances your ability to excel in this role. Previous experience working night shifts in a hotel environment is a plus; resort experience is especially valued for its dynamic setting. Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities within customer service contexts to resolve issues swiftly while maintaining guest satisfaction.
