In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact during the nighttime hours, managing front desk responsibilities, verifying daily financial transactions, and maintaining the safety and security of the property. Your proactive approach and hospitality expertise will keep our hotel running smoothly while providing outstanding service to our guests. Duties Welcome and assist guests during late-night hours with check-in, check-out, and inquiries, ensuring a positive experience through excellent customer service and phone etiquette Conduct nightly audits of all financial transactions, including room charges, payments, and adjustments using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar platforms Prepare detailed shift reports, incident logs, and audit documentation to ensure accurate record-keeping for management review Monitor security cameras and perform property inspections to uphold safety protocols and prevent theft or damage Handle guest requests or complaints promptly, employing customer service problem-solving skills to resolve issues efficiently Manage multi-line phone systems to answer inquiries from guests, vendors, or staff with professionalism and clarity Enforce hotel emergency procedures when necessary, coordinating with local authorities or emergency responders to ensure guest safety Skills Proven experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel or resort setting Strong knowledge of hotel management systems (PMS), especially OPERA or similar platforms for reservations and billing Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guest populations effectively Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and client communication Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to handle unexpected situations confidently Exceptional phone communication skills with multi-line phone system proficiency and proper phone etiquette Ability to problem-solve quickly under pressure while maintaining a friendly, professional demeanor in a hospitality environment This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to advance their career in hospitality management while delivering memorable guest experiences.
