Fairfield Inn & Suites, Southport NC ​About the Role We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Night Auditor. In this role, you will be the face of the property overnight, ensuring front desk operations run smoothly, reconciling daily transactions, and preparing the property for the morning rush. ​Prior hotel front desk or auditing experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates strong reliability, good customer service skills, and attention to detail. ​Key Responsibilities ​Manage overnight front desk operations, including late check-ins, early check-outs, and guest inquiries. ​Perform standard end-of-day accounting and system auditing procedures to balance daily revenue and generate reports. ​Maintain overall lobby cleanliness and ensure public areas remain tidy, organized, and welcoming throughout the night. ​Assist with morning breakfast prep by setting out supplies, food, and beverage items prior to breakfast hours. ​Monitor property security overnight and report or address any guest concerns promptly. ​Prepare a smooth shift handover and pass key logs/updates to the morning team. ​Qualifications ​Previous hotel front desk or night audit experience preferred, but not required (training provided). ​Basic math and computer proficiency for processing payments and running audit software. ​Strong dependability and ability to work independently during quiet overnight hours. ​Friendly communication skills for interacting with late-night and early-morning guests. ​Ability to stand, walk, and handle light lifting (breakfast setup and lobby upkeep).
