The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth overnight operation of the hotel, including financial reconciliation, guest services, and maintaining the security of the property. Duties Perform nightly financial audits, including reconciling accounts and preparing reports for management Handle guest check-ins and check-outs during overnight hours with professionalism and courtesy Respond promptly to guest requests, inquiries, and complaints to ensure guest satisfaction Maintain front desk operations, including managing multi-line phone systems and booking reservations Ensure security of the hotel premises by monitoring surveillance systems and conducting regular patrols Update and maintain accurate records of guest information and billing details Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and reporting as needed Uphold hotel policies and procedures to ensure compliance with safety standards and guest privacy Skills Strong background in hospitality management or hotel operations Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Bilingual or multilingual abilities are preferred to assist diverse guests effectively Experience with front desk operations, including multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette Knowledge of hotel management software and night audit procedures (Night audit experience is a plus) Exceptional guest relations skills to foster positive experiences during overnight stays Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment during night shifts Good communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective guest interaction and reporting This role is vital for maintaining the high standards of our hotel while providing guests with seamless service during overnight hours.
