Job Description

Night Auditor Position Overview We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Night Auditor to join the Front Office team at Middletown Hotel Management. In this role, you will provide exceptional guest service during overnight hours while completing daily audits and ensuring all financial reporting is accurate and ready for management review. If you are a self-starter who excels at balancing hospitality with precision, we would love to meet you. Benefits 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Responsibilities Check guests in and out of the hotel in a professional and efficient manner Maintain thorough knowledge of the ONQ property management system and assist with reservations Adhere to all accounting and cash handling procedures Manage all guest requests and delegate tasks to appropriate departments Serve as PBX Operator, utilizing the switchboard and other communication devices Answer all inquiries in a friendly, courteous, and clear manner Handle and resolve guest complaints, exceeding guest expectations at every opportunity Perform daily audits including reviewing room and tax postings, balancing totals, completing reports, and completing PMS backup and rebuild Inform management of any unusual activity during the shift Assist with the shipping and receiving process in a timely manner Assist guests with luggage when needed Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the Front Desk area Qualifications Prior front desk or hotel experience preferred Familiarity with ONQ or similar property management systems a plus Strong accounting aptitude and attention to detail Effective verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of hotel amenities and ability to provide clear directions to guests Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist in moving heavier loads with team support Ability to work independently overnight in a fast-paced environment Middletown Hotel Management is an Equal Opportunity Employer
