Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Agent to join our team at The Holiday Inn Express. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression. Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently, handling reservations and payments accurately. Provide information about the hotel's amenities, services, and local attractions to enhance guest experience. Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally. Maintain accurate records of guest interactions and transactions using hotel management software. Assist with night audit duties as required, ensuring all financial transactions are balanced at the end of each day. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready for occupancy. Utilize phone systems effectively to manage incoming calls, taking messages when necessary. Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization at the front desk area. Requirements Previous experience in hospitality or customer service roles preferred; experience in a hotel or resort setting is a plus. Strong phone etiquette with excellent verbal communication skills; multilingual abilities are highly desirable. Proficient in guest relations with a focus on delivering exceptional service to all guests. Ability to handle stressful situations calmly while maintaining professionalism. Familiarity with night audit processes is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided as needed. Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask effectively in a busy environment. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business needs.
