Job Description
What you will be doing Complete a nightly MOD checklist and send copies to the General Manager, Engineer, Housekeeping and F&B teams.
Manage guest resolution process to include investigation of situation and creative problem solving to ensure guest is satisfied with outcome.
Handle emergencies that may develop in the hotel, with full authority to contact all providers and ensure all issues are handled and reported.
Assist any department that is short staffed or needs additional help.
Have complete understanding of Front Office staff's job descriptions and duties and be able to perform duties at any given time.
Accurately manage and operate the OnQ system at the front office, including all daily transactions and those which are not performed often, including Night Audit
Have knowledge of Food and Beverage operations and be ready to assist in the restaurant should the need arise
Have knowledge/understanding of the Simphony POS system What we are looking for High work ethic, self-initiative , independent judgment
Proven customer service and problem-solving experience
Regular attendance according to established guidelines
PM position- hours may change slightly depending on needs of business
May be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property
Focus and maintain attention to tasks, and complete work assignments on time despite frequent interruptions
Ability to maintain excellent relationships with staff and maintain staff and guest confidentiality at all times
Stand and walk for varying lengths of time, often long periods of time
