Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Night Auditor, where you'll be the vital link ensuring seamless overnight operations at our hotel. This energetic role combines guest relations, administrative oversight, and security responsibilities to deliver exceptional service and maintain the safety and integrity of our property. As a Night Auditor, you'll be the first point of contact for late-night guests, managing front desk functions while overseeing financial reconciliations and hotel procedures. Your proactive approach will help create a welcoming environment that encourages guest loyalty and operational excellence. Duties Welcome and assist guests during late-night hours, providing friendly and efficient front desk service using multi-line phone systems and hospitality reservation systems such as OPERA or Property Management Systems (PMS). Conduct nightly audits of guest accounts, ensuring accuracy in billing, reservations, and financial records. Handle guest inquiries, resolve service issues promptly, and communicate effectively via phone etiquette to enhance guest satisfaction. Monitor security systems, perform routine property inspections, and respond swiftly to any hotel emergency procedures to ensure safety. Prepare detailed shift reports, incident logs, and financial summaries to maintain accurate records for management review. Oversee key control procedures and ensure compliance with hotel policies while maintaining guest confidentiality. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address any overnight guest requests or facility concerns. Experience Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations is highly preferred. Familiarity with hotel management software such as OPERA or other property management systems (PMS). Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on problem-solving and client communication. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse guest populations effectively. Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures, guest relations, and hospitality reservation systems enhances your ability to excel in this role. Experience working in resort environments or with multi-line phone systems will be advantageous. Demonstrated ability to handle night audit responsibilities efficiently while maintaining high standards of hospitality and security.
