In this vital role, you will oversee the nightly financial reconciliation, guest check-ins and check-outs, and uphold the highest standards of guest service. Your proactive attitude will help maintain the safety, security, and smooth functioning of the hotel during nighttime hours. Duties Conduct nightly audits using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA to reconcile accounts and prepare financial reports. Manage guest arrivals and departures with professionalism, ensuring accurate reservations and billing procedures. Provide exceptional guest services by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining positive guest relations. Monitor security cameras and perform safety checks to ensure hotel premises are secure during overnight hours. Handle all phone communications with courteous phone etiquette, directing calls efficiently and assisting guests with their needs. Follow hotel emergency procedures swiftly and accurately in case of incidents or safety concerns. Complete detailed shift reports, incident logs, and audit documentation to ensure accurate record-keeping for management review. Experience Previous experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel or resort environment is highly preferred. Proficiency with property management systems (PMS), especially OPERA or similar platforms, is essential. Strong customer service skills with the ability to problem-solve effectively and communicate clearly in multiple languages or bilingually is advantageous. Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures, guest services protocols, and night audit processes is desirable. Experience working in a multilingual or multicultural setting enhances your ability to connect with diverse guests. Prior resort experience or hotel experience focusing on guest relations will help you excel in this role. Ability to handle phone communication professionally while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette is required.
