Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Night Auditor, where your energetic and detail-oriented approach will ensure smooth overnight operations and exceptional guest experiences. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact during the night shift, managing front desk activities, handling guest inquiries, and maintaining accurate financial records. Your enthusiasm and commitment to hospitality excellence will help create a welcoming environment for all guests while ensuring operational efficiency through meticulous auditing and reporting. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures during the overnight shift. Manage multi-line phone systems, respond to guest requests, and provide information about hotel amenities and local attractions with professionalism and enthusiasm. Conduct nightly audits of guest accounts, ensuring accuracy in billing and property management system (PMS) entries such as OPERA or similar platforms. Maintain security by monitoring CCTV surveillance, conducting property inspections, and adhering to hotel emergency procedures. Prepare detailed shift reports, incident logs, and financial summaries to ensure seamless handover to morning staff. Handle guest complaints or issues promptly using customer service problem-solving skills to enhance guest satisfaction. Support reservation management using hospitality reservation systems, updating bookings, cancellations, and special requests efficiently. Qualifications Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations, preferably with resort or hotel experience. Strong knowledge of property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or comparable platforms. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly phone etiquette and ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are a plus. Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures, guest relations, and security protocols to ensure guest safety at all times. Ability to handle multi-line phone systems confidently while maintaining professionalism during high-pressure situations. Previous experience working night shifts in a hospitality environment is highly desirable. Demonstrated problem-solving skills in customer service scenarios with a focus on client communication and guest satisfaction.
