The Front Desk Agent plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during evening and overnight hours, providing exceptional guest service while managing financial transactions and reports. This position requires a blend of customer service skills and accounting knowledge, making it ideal for individuals passionate about hospitality and guest relations.
Responsibilities:
Perform night audits by reviewing and reconciling daily financial transactions and reports. Provide excellent guest services at the front desk, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience for all guests. Manage phone systems to handle incoming calls efficiently and professionally. Maintain accurate records of guest accounts, including check-ins, check-outs, and billing. Assist with any late-night requests from guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly. Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless operations during night shifts. Prepare reports for management on occupancy rates, revenue, and other key performance indicators. Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization at the front desk area.
Requirements:
Previous experience in hospitality or front desk operations is preferred. Familiarity with night audit procedures is a plus. Strong guest relations skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. Proficiency in using phone systems and hotel management software. Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. A background in hospitality management or related fields is advantageous.
