Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Night Auditor to join our team at Tru by Hilton Winchester. This role is essential for ensuring smooth overnight operations, guest satisfaction, and accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service abilities. Bilingual or multilingual skills are highly valued to enhance guest relations and communication. As Night Auditor, you will be the key point of contact during overnight hours, maintaining the front desk, managing guest inquiries, and ensuring the integrity of nightly financial processes. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic hospitality environment with a focus on guest experience and operational excellence. Responsibilities Conduct nightly audits of all hotel transactions, ensuring accuracy in billing and financial records Manage front desk operations during overnight shifts, including check-ins and check-outs for late arrivals Provide exceptional guest services, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally Handle multi-line phone systems with proper phone etiquette to assist guests and coordinate with other departments Maintain guest relations by delivering personalized service and ensuring guest comfort throughout the night Prepare reports on daily revenue, occupancy, and other operational metrics for management review Assist with administrative tasks such as updating reservation systems and processing payments Ensure security protocols are followed to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff during overnight hours Experience Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel operations is preferred Proven background in night audit procedures within a hotel or resort setting Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages (bilingual/multilingual skills are a plus) Knowledge of front desk operations, guest services, and hotel management software systems Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette is advantageous Experience working in a luxury resort or similar hospitality environment is desirable Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining high standards of professionalism and attention to detail
