Hotel Night Auditor

Job Description

We are looking for an energetic, outgoing, upbeat person who is good under pressure to work at our front desk. Looking for someone with a great personality who is a team player and understands there are lots of different personalities in both other employees and guests. Come join a hotel in Dodgeville, WI right of HWY 23!
Primary Responsibilities:
Duties:
  • Perform night audit procedures to reconcile daily hotel revenue and expenses
  • Verify the accuracy of guest accounts by reviewing charges and credits
  • Handle guest check-ins and check-outs during the overnight shift
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues or complaints
  • Assist with guest reservations and ensure accurate room assignments
  • Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to provide recommendations to guests
  • Operate phone systems and handle incoming calls professionally
  • Complete end-of-day reports and distribute them to appropriate departments
  • Ensure the security of the hotel by monitoring access and conducting regular rounds
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a guest relations or front desk role preferred
  • Knowledge of hotel management systems and night audit procedures is a plus
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
  • Some small maintenance experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Multilingual or bilingual skills are highly desirable
  • Proficient in using computer systems, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
