Job Description

Job Description Insight Global is looking to hire a Payroll Manager.

This is a mostly remote role, with monthly travel. The role requires travel to the home office in Miami, FL at least once per month for a minimum of three days per visit.

This individual will own end-to-end payroll operations for approximately 3,000 employees across 105+ locations in 10+ states and multiple legal entities while managing a team of two Payroll Specialists/Analysts.

Responsibilities include overseeing regular and off-cycle payrolls, maintaining payroll controls and approval processes, completing pre-payroll reviews and variance analysis, managing multi-state tax and wage compliance, reconciling payroll to the general ledger, and supporting financial, retirement plan, workers' compensation, and regulatory audits.

This person will partner closely with Finance and HR, oversee payroll system and data integrity, support acquisition integrations, and personally handle complex payroll issues, year-end processing, and tax matters. Skills and Requirements -8+ years of progressive payroll experience, including 3+ years supporting multi-state payroll for 2,000+ employees-2+ years of direct payroll team leadership experience-Experience managing payroll internal controls, reconciliations, segregation of duties, and multi-entity payroll-Experience supporting financial statement and retirement plan audits-Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, HR, or related field, or Associate's degree with equivalent payroll experience-Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification or eligibility to obtain within 18 months-Experience integrating payroll for acquisitions or new legal entities-Payroll/HCM system implementation or conversion experience-Experience with Form 5500 audits-Experience supporting payroll environments with multiple FEINs We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
